Post about anything technology related

The 23 things program is very interesting, & some these will have an application in the LIM profession. In particular, there is scope for the use of collaborative use of tools such as blogs, wiki's & RSS feeds for LIM staff. These tools should enable both a sharing of knowledge & resources between LIM staff, as well as an ability to provide a better service to clients. Perhaps the greatest bar to the effective use of such tools will be twofold. Firstly, the need for better hardware/software, & secondly client acceptance of this mode of communication. Coming from a government law library, cultural resistance to new methods & communications practices could be a substantive issue. Nevertheless, I am sure that the LIM profession will incorporate & adapt these tools to serve the needs of both the profession & our clients, as it has done over the years with IT that is now an integral part of our professional practice.

I saw this quote that is relevant to your comments
"library 2.0...it's not about machines and software : it's about using the best tools and ideas to provide the best possible service to our users"

Hope this program gives you some ideas about using web 2.0 technology in your applications
