For me, I particulary liked Library Thing, particularly as I use LC not Dewey. So many tools...will this translate to Library 2.0?

This course & the debates around Library 2.0 go to an issue that is not often discussed & debated in the LIM proffession - the relationship between social change & technological development. Some resources that examine this issue include; The social shaping of technology : how the refrigerator got its hum, The social construction of technological systems : new directions in the sociology and history of technology, Social dimensions of information technology : issues for the new millennium, & Technology and the politics of knowledge.

Interesting examples, particularly FLICC/FEDLINK. Like a lot of the web 2.0 tools, this has potential for both clients & the LIS profession.

Cool tech, for personal use I can see the use & value... but for work? Although I found the Libraries with RSS feeds from the Catalog interesting.
